Advice
Learn to be your own advocate! Regardless of what you choose to do and who you want to be after high school, there is a huge benefit in realizing that you can and are your best advocate. Learn to ask for help, to speak up, and to be bold. People listen to those who use their voice. You have done, can do, and will accomplish amazing things!
Favorite spot on campus
Calvin’s whole campus is beautiful! I have so many favorite places that it’s hard to pick one. So, I have three. For a quiet place to sit: the Science Building’s atrium is a great spot with large windows, serene space, and big plants. For a fun place to stay active: Calvin’s tennis courts are frequently open and ready to be utilized for a recreational game with your friends. For a social spot to people watch: Peet’s coffee has some of the sweetest (and most patient) student workers that understand just how important coffee can be. We can’t wait to have you here.
