About the AC
Christi earned her B.A. from Calvin in Secondary Education and her M.A. from Western Michigan University in Counseling Education/Counseling Psychology. She worked as a teacher and school counselor for over 20 years before coming back to Calvin and joining the admissions team. She especially enjoys seeing former students who are now interested in transferring to Calvin University! One thing she loves about Calvin is the diversity of experiences and backgrounds that Calvin students bring to the community and the richness that creates, as well as the culture of curiosity on campus. Calvin is a safe place to ask hard questions and struggle with new ideas. In her free time, Christi enjoys travelling, hiking, reading, and baking.
