Bio

Sam was born and raised in Grand Rapids, MI living with Calvin basically in his backyard. Sam went to Albion College where he double majored in Theatre and History and minored in Educational Studies. Sam is passionate about helping students find the path that works best for them. Outside of the office, Sam enjoys camping, watching his favorite shows, and cooking. Sam has two cats with his fiancée; their names are Penelope and Henry.

Take your time with your college search and keep an open mind. As you visit and learn more about colleges make sure to take into account the things that really matter to you (size, extra-curriculars, city, programs, etc.) This will help you narrow down your choices and pick the school that’s best for you! 

Favorite Spot on Campus

Sam’s favorite spot-on campus is the nature center, the trails there have wonderful calm. There is a great room for relaxation and introspection!
