How the Visit Grant works

  • Attend an official Calvin Admissions-sponsored visit on campus during your junior or senior year in high school. Don’t wait—the offer expires May 1 of your senior year.

  • Students who transfer in spring ’24 or fall ’24 may qualify if they visit within 1 year of their starting date at Calvin. Learn more in the FAQs below.

  • International students and Americans living abroad may either attend one on-campus option, or attend two virtual events: an International Student Webinar and a one-on-one chat with an International Admissions Counselor.

  • The Visit Grant is renewable each year you’re an undergraduate student at Calvin, for up to five years. If you attend Calvin for four years, you will receive the $2,000 grant four times.

  • The Visit Grant stacks onto other financial aid you receive from Calvin.

  • You must be a degree-seeking, on-campus, undergraduate student to receive the grant. $2,000 per year assumes you are a full-time (12+ credits) student for both semesters. If you are less than full time you will receive a pro-rated amount.
