Entrada Scholars 2025: Application for Admitted Seniors

Program Information

Entrada is a four-week program for students in grades 11 and 12. The program is designed for students of color and others who are committed to anti-racism and cross-cultural engagement. You’ll learn like a university student, live in the dorms, and earn college credits.

Please note: Entrada is a selective experience, and submitting an application does not guarantee admittance into the program. While a large portion of the cost of the program, including tuition, room and board, and books and activities, is generously covered by a grant, there is a total cost of $750 to admitted students. There is no fee to apply, but if you are admitted, a $200 enrollment deposit is required to accept your spot, and you will be billed for the balance prior to the start of the program. Payment plans are available.

Important Dates and Deadlines:

April 4, 2025 - Application deadline.
May 16, 2025 - $200 deposit due.
May 30, 2025 - Financial assistance and payment plan applications are due.
May 30, 2025 - All enrollment steps must be completed.
June 30, 2025 - Full program costs are due.
July 6–30, 2025 - Entrada 2025 program.

Entrada is an academic achievement program offered by Calvin University, an institution known for its unique blend of academic excellence and Christian commitment. Please answer each of the following questions in 200 words or less and upload your essay.
